Customer Due Diligence (CDD) Analyst – FTC                           London               Up to £80,000

 

Our client a leading international banking institution are seeking an experienced CDD Analyst to support their Private Banking division. This role will focus on delivering high-quality KYC and customer due diligence processes for high and ultra-high-net-worth clients, ensuring compliance with UK regulatory requirements and financial crime standards.

Working closely with relationship managers and internal stakeholders, you will play a key role in safeguarding the organisation against financial crime risk while maintaining efficient onboarding and review processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct end-to-end CDD reviews for HNW and UHNW clients, including onboarding, periodic reviews, and remediation
  • Analyse complex ownership and trust structures to identify ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs)
  • Perform sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening, escalating potential risks appropriately
  • Assess financial crime risks and apply enhanced due diligence where required
  • Review and validate source of wealth and source of funds documentation
  • Maintain accurate KYC records and produce clear, auditable case notes
  • Collaborate with relationship managers to progress cases efficiently and meet SLAs

You will have experience in KYC/CDD within a UK regulated financial institution, ideally supporting private banking or international HNW clients. Strong knowledge of AML regulations, trust structures, and enhanced due diligence processes is essential, alongside excellent analytical and documentation skills.
