Administrative Assistant London Up to £29,000
Our client, a respected firm within the Accountancy sector, is seeking an organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to join their London office. This role provides essential support across two busy departments and is well suited to candidates with prior experience in an accountancy or LLP environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and confidence managing a varied workload. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, supporting daily operations and helping ensure the smooth delivery of client services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support across multiple teams
- Sort, scan and process documents in line with internal procedures
- Manage incoming and outgoing post via SharePoint
- Prepare and amend letters, accounts and documentation
- Support iXBRL tagging and submission processes
- Coordinate meetings, calendar management and room bookings
- Handle telephone queries professionally and efficiently
- Offer cover during team absences and provide ad-hoc support as required
The successful candidate will bring experience from an accountancy firm or LLP, strong written communication skills, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to work accurately under pressure. A team-focused mindset and a proactive approach are essential.
