Technology Operations Lead South London Up to £60,000
Our client innovative Fintech organisation are looking to recruit a Technology Operations Lead to oversee and develop their technical operations function. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will manage a small team while also supporting the infrastructure and systems that underpin a rapidly scaling technology platform.
Working closely with senior leadership and operational teams, you will play a key role in ensuring high levels of system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency across a distributed technology estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of technical operations engineers, setting standards and managing performance
- Oversee the service desk pipeline, ensuring issues are logged, prioritised, and resolved effectively
- Manage monitoring, alerting, and remote device management across multiple sites
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and hardware issues
- Lead root-cause analysis and implement preventative maintenance strategies
- Support network infrastructure including routers, VPNs, DNS, and DHCP
- Provide technical oversight for new site installations and system onboarding
About You
The successful candidate will bring strong experience in IT infrastructure, technical operations, or field engineering, alongside proven team leadership skills. Solid networking knowledge and the ability to diagnose complex technical issues are essential. Experience supporting distributed technology environments or IoT infrastructure would be highly advantageous.
