Risk Manager                                              London / Essex                         Up to £60,000

Our client, a National Business Advisory firm, seeks a Risk Manager to play a crucial role in ensuring robust risk management practices within the business.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of operational risk, experience with risk registers, risk evaluation, and controls, and the ability to establish the effectiveness of controls through KPIs.

Key duties include:

• Assist in the identification, evaluation, and management of operational risks
• Assist risk owners in the creation of their risk registers
• Evaluate controls implemented by risk owners to establish effectiveness
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
• Support the ORC team in their risk oversight role
• Monitor progress in actions identified by risk owners
• Prepare and present risk reports to stakeholders
• Develop and deliver training on risk management and compliance initiatives

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience as senior level with proven knowledge of risk registers, risk evaluation, and controls
