Our client a Privately owned Property Company seek an Office Manager to work within a close-knit team of five, working collaboratively to ensure the smooth running of their office in Central London.

While the Office Manager has a distinct set of responsibilities, you will work closely with the Facilities Manager and Receptionist to provide front of house cover and maintain the buildings to high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting Facilities Manager with the upkeep of the office M&E and H&S
  • Maintaining and ordering stationery supplies
  • Managing office consumable suppliers
  • Managing the relationship with the cleaners and ensure the building is kept clean to a high standard.
  • Ensuring kitchens and bathrooms are fully stocked and clean, instructing the cleaner as necessary.
  • Handling internal and external office post
  • Managing external deliveries
  • Maintaining the gym and ensuring users have signed a waiver.
  • Raising issues around the building with the Facilities Manager and ensuring they are rectified.
  • Health and Safety, including maintenance of fire escapes, fire alarms, annual and weekly testing.
  • Acting as fire warden
  • Security - unlocking and locking of the office.
  • Active involvement in office moves.
  • Assisting the Facilities Manager with storage units and their contents
  • Archiving, including managing older archived material and purging where necessary.
  • Managing invoices, ensuring they are correct and compiling them for authorisation
  • Management of Operations team expenses
  • Managing our suppliers, tracking costs, and identifying costs saving opportunities.


The successful candidate will have previous Office Management experience ideally from the same or similar industry.
