Management Accountant                                           London                               Up to £45,000

Our client, an established Marine, Offshore and Engineering Consultancy, seeks a Management Accountant to provide accounting support for their UK financial control team.

Key Duties include:

• Responsibility for General & Sub ledger accuracy.
• Support for the monthly reporting for UK entities. Accounts to be prepared to allow timely review by Regional Controller
• Prepare monthly results alongside UK financial controller and operations manager in business review meetings to senior stakeholders
• Responsibility for ensuring Project Managers invoice in a timely manner and provide controlling/ admin support to several running projects.
• To ensure continued improvement of Netsuite to ensure efficient processes for AP, AR and bank reconciliations
• Responsible for supporting the global subcontractor lead in assisting with improving the efficiency and accuracy of subcontractor accounting.
• To provide relevant performance and cash flow data to Appropriate Project & other Manager
• Preparation/ review of cash flow forecast
• Preparation/ review of bank payments as required
• To ensure intercompany balances are agreed and settled in a timely manner, to escalate disputed items as required
• To ensure monthly reconciliation of key balance sheet codes: AR, AP, Banking, Other debtors/creditors, accruals, Fixed Assets
• To assist in analysing performance of projects and Business Streams

The successful candidate will have 2-3 years’ accountancy experience ideally from the same or similar industry
