Head of Building Management                                 London                                      Up to £55,000

The Head of Building Management role at the prestigious Centre in central London offers an exciting leadership opportunity in a dynamic, award-winning events environment. With a salary range of £50-55k plus benefits, you’ll oversee critical building operations, manage hard and soft services, and ensure health and safety compliance.
You'll also play a pivotal role in sustainability planning and energy management while leading refurbishment projects and working closely with contractors.

Key duties include:
• Line manage and develop x2 direct reports responsible for day to day hard/soft services delivery.
• Project management of capital refurbishment projects and all small works
• Primary liaison with procured service partners (hard and soft services), to reconcile any variable costs against budget and job specification, to ensure that fixed contracted services are being delivered to the agreed standard/SLA.
• Management of fixed assets, ensuring the Venue Operations Director is informed of matters relating to the life cycle of our legacy plant and machinery.
• Provide direction; support and strategic/operational input to major contracts – Hard Services; Cleaning; Reception; Porterage; Catering; Fire Safety; Lifts; and others
• To create a strategy for overall PPM and ensure statutory compliance objectives are met
• To work with the Venue Operations Director to maintain the Centre’s Health & Safety Policy and to ensure all staff training pertaining to health and safety is kept up to date.
• To manage the service partner security contract, ensuring a 24-hour manned service is maintained, that all legal compliance is adhered to and that all operations are in line with Security Industry guidance.

The ideal candidates will have strong technical expertise in engineering, electrical or other hard services, FM leadership experience, project management skills, and a passion for exceptional service. This is a strategic, impactful position within a team dedicated to excellence and innovation.
