Accountant (Romanian Speaking)                                    Harrow                              Up to £35,000

Our client a well-established Accountancy firm to recruit a Romanian-speaking Accountant to join their growing team in Harrow. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to develop their career within a dynamic and client-focused practice environment.

In this role, you will manage relationships with a portfolio of clients, supporting them with day-to-day accounting and tax-related matters while ensuring compliance with UK regulations.

• Key Responsibilities
• Prepare accounts up to trial balance stage for review and finalisation
• Manage client queries relating to tax and accounts
• Build strong relationships with clients and provide ongoing support
• Liaise with HMRC regarding reconciliations and payment queries
• Prepare and submit VAT returns
• Chase and review client financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Support with additional tasks such as self-assessments, payroll, and corporate tax where required

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in an accounting role, alongside strong knowledge of UK accounting and tax practices. Fluency in Romanian and English is essential, as you will be supporting Romanian-speaking clients.
