Temporary Part-Time Finance Assistant London Between £13phr - £17phr
Our client, one of the UK’s Top Independent Regulator’s seek a Temporary PT Finance Assistant
The Finance Assistant will be working alongside another Finance Assistant and assisting the Finance Executive to maintain the accounting records.
Key Duties include:
- Verification of, coding, posting in Sage and setting up payments for supplier invoices
- Recording accounting transactions in the sales, purchase and nominal ledgers, and maintaining fixed asset register
- Weekly Reconciliation of bank statements
- Preparing and submitting BACS payments to suppliers
- Preparation of weekly cashflow forecasts to be sent to our funders.
- Raising Invoices to clients for services delivered
- Credit control
- Monitoring the accounts mailbox. Dealing with queries from staff, suppliers, customers.
- Analysis of credit card (cardnet) receipts in Sage Pay
- Reconciling cardnet / Amex statements
- Analysis of corporate card payments and posting to Sage
- Monthly analysis of legal and payroll costs
- Payroll Admin e.g. preparation and posting of monthly salary control journals
- Assist with administration of benefits / pensions
- Assisting the Finance Executive as required
- Assisting the team during the Year End external audit
The successful candidate will be available Immediately, have a minimum of 2 years previous experience within finance and ideally be AAT qualified.
