VAT Compliance Manager                                     London                              Up to £70,000

Our client, a rapidly growing independent Professional Services firm, are seeking a VAT Compliance Manager to join their Fiscal Solutions team in London.

The firm is partner-led, people-focused, and renowned for delivering exceptional service across specialist markets.

In this role, you will support businesses trading across Europe and beyond, helping them navigate complex VAT obligations. You will combine technical compliance work with client advisory responsibilities, while managing and developing a team of junior professionals.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading VAT compliance across core jurisdictions (UK, FR, DE, NL, IE)
• Advising clients on complex EU VAT matters
• Reviewing and preparing VAT returns and compliance documentation
• Managing and coaching junior team members
• Ensuring deadlines, risk assessments, and reporting obligations are met

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of the EU VAT Directive and relevant national legislation
• Excellent communication and advisory skills
• Proven management experience with the ability to develop others
• Ability to handle competing priorities and navigate complex VAT issues
